Tsen Engineering is a woman-owned structural engineering firm located in downtown Austin, Texas. During my time with Tsen Engineering, my role was primarily focused on the realms of marketing and graphic design. In the domain of graphic design, I undertook a diverse array of responsibilities. These encompassed the meticulous maintenance of their website, the skillful creation of qualification packets, and engaging in creative endeavors, including the development of distinct branding projects. Below are highlights from a selection of creative projects I spearheaded during my tenure with Tsen Engineering:
University of Texas Austin 2022 Fall Engineering Expo
Tsen Engineering took great pride in its participation in the 2022 Fall Engineering Expo at the University of Texas at Austin. For this distinctive project, my role involved crafting a unique logo intended for use on promotional items and marketing materials. The marketing collateral encompassed an array of elements, including eye-catching signage, retractable banners, and table runners. Meanwhile, the promotional items included a wide assortment of branded merchandise, such as tote bags, stickers, button pins, pens, t-shirts, and stadium cups, adding a touch of our creative flair to the event.
Amphitheater Round-Up
The president of Tsen Engineering, Stephanie Tsen, had attended a concert at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater, located in Del Valle, Texas. In visiting the impressive venue it got her thinking about what other unique amphitheaters there are around the country.
After researching, I decided to share what I found were some of the most interesting and popular venues. Here is a round-up on 12 amphitheaters from around the country comparing their size by their capacities. Information also includes, their location, opening date, and architects.
Tsen Engineering is also currently working on a new amphitheater, just outside of Austin, Texas. The Backyard Live Oak Amphitheater is located in Bee Caves, Texas. Tsen Engineering is proud to be designing the structural engineering for the prime architecture firm, Studio Steinbomer. This Amphitheater is currently in the design phase and expected to be open to the public in 2024. Explore The Backyard and learn what it is all about by clicking the link. backyardaustin.com
