Born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Michael Berardino grew up developing an interest in pursuing a creative path. Throughout his childhood he spent his free time participating in creative summer camps and after school classes. After pursuing a course in photoshop during his high school career, he decided graphic design was what he wanted to pursue for his professional career.
Michael traveled across the country to Louisiana for his college career to experience new inspiration and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelors in Graphic Design. During his college career he worked to understand and excel in the Adobe Creative Suite platform. My relevant studio courses consisted of Motion Design, Typography, Interactive Design, Print and Narrative Design, Art and Design History, Design Photography, Professional Practice, Textile Design, Illustration Design, Social Political Design, Drawing and Design Business.
After receiving his undergraduate degree, Michael traveled to Austin, Texas to begin building his professional experience and continue to explore new cities. In Austin he landed a full time job within the realms of graphic design and marketing. While pursuing a full time job he continued to advance his design skills during his freetime by taking on independent projects and a part time event planning job. After about two years in Austin, he moved back to Boston to plant his roots and build connections within the cities creative community.
